Allied Corporation and Google to Manufacture 500,000 Chromebooks in Pakistan

Islamabad — Allied Corporation, an Adelaide-based PC manufacturer, has finalized a $200 million deal with Google to produce over 500,000 Chromebooks for Pakistani students by 2025. Approved by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, this initiative aims to enhance educational technology access and promote digital learning across the country.

Allied will establish a local manufacturing presence in Pakistan, contributing to job creation and the development of the country’s tech industry. This collaboration follows Allied’s previous agreement to manufacture Chromebooks for Australian schools, marking a significant step in expanding digital education infrastructure in Pakistan.
