Lahore (April 8, 2026): Ali Khan Tareen, President of the Tareen Education Foundation, inaugurated a state-of-the-art computer lab at Government Graduate College for Women, Model Town. Director Education Ahsan Mukhtar, Chief Executive Officer of Tareen Education Foundation Akbar Khan and Principal Professor Dr. Shehnaz Kausar were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Ali Khan Tareen emphasized that providing equal and quality educational opportunities to women is essential for the progress of any nation. Women Empowerment is essential for national development and prosperity. He stated that in today’s world, development is not possible without IT education, which is why the Tareen Education Foundation is placing special focus on establishing modern computer labs in educational institutions.
He further said that girls’ education not only ensures the protection of their rights and promotes economic independence, but also has a positive impact on society as a whole. An educated woman plays a vital role in shaping future generations.
Ali Khan Tareen added, “Protecting women’s fundamental rights and making them self reliant is the foundation of a progressive society, and without providing equal opportunities to women, national prosperity and economic growth cannot be achieved.”
He also noted that “the Tareen Education Foundation is working to establish more computer labs in schools and colleges across the country.”
