Rahim Yar Khan – 24th March 2026: Jahangir Khan Tareen formally inaugurated a school in Basti Jam Bakhujhilan. The TCF school, established with the financial support of JDW Sugar Mills owners Jahangir Khan Tareen and Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood, has been constructed at a cost of PKR 42.3 million.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Jahangir Khan Tareen said that the establishment of this school will provide children with access to quality education, paving the way for turning their dreams into reality. He further stated that children in underprivileged areas have the right to basic facilities of modern and quality education. He urged philanthropists and well-off individuals to come forward and contribute towards providing education and healthcare facilities in such areas.
On this occasion, Group Director Finance JDW Sugar Mills, Muhammad Rafiq, Executive Director JDW Unit-I Dr. Hassan Iqbal, senior management of the mills, and a large number of local notables were also present.
