The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that the next PSL season will include two new franchises based in Gilgit and Faisalabad.
These cities were chosen from a shortlist of six potential locations.
The decision follows a valuation process for all existing PSL teams and commercial assets.
PCB plans to open the bidding soon so that investors can compete for the two new franchises.
The move is aimed at expanding the league’s footprint and bringing top-level cricket to new regions.
