Tareen Education Foundation Distributes IT Course Certificates to 850+ Students in Lahore
LAHORE: Tareen Education Foundation (TEF) organised a certificate distribution ceremony at Government Graduate Islamia College, Cooper Road, Lahore, attended by students from seven government educational institutions across Lahore.
During the ceremony, certificates were distributed among 879 students who successfully completed courses under the Summer Programme at the ICT Labs established by Tareen Education Foundation. The establishment of these computer labs were made possible through the vision and financial support of Jahangir Khan Tareen.
Under the Summer Programme, students received training in MS Office & Apps Management and Graphic Designing, while a total of 1,375 students have embarked on their IT learning journey through these labs.
Tareen Education Foundation has so far established 11 computer labs in government educational institutions across Lahore to provide students with access to modern IT facilities and practical training. The labs have been established at a cost of more than PKR 100 million.
The labs remain available to students not only during regular academic hours but also after school hours, enabling them to make full use of modern technology and further develop their digital skills.
The initiative aims to equip students of government educational institutions with modern digital skills and prepare them for future educational and professional opportunities.
Addressing the ceremony, Akbar Khan said that the establishment of computer labs by Jahangir Khan Tareen to promote IT education marks a significant milestone.
Director Colleges Ahsan Mukhtar were also present on the occasion.
